Oud Bayati - The essentials of the electric oud for greater accessibility
“I often read comments about my prices which surprise and frustrate musicians who would like to treat themselves to one of my electric ouds. This is why I designed a very refined oud to concentrate on the sound quality and the comfort of play. Its aesthetic simplicity allows me to massively simplify the production time. In the end, I offer a handcrafted instrument at an extremely affordable price and thus make the world of the electric oud more accessible.

1- The bridge is adjustable in height. A first on an electric oud! The action of the strings is adjustable from 2 to 4mm at the fifth neck position.
2- A micro adjustment to balance the dynamics of each string courses.
3- Tuners made of steel to tune the strings. (ratio is 1/1)

This professional quality musical instrument is patented by the INPI (2023-6228). It is manufactured and adjusted by hand. It requires an oiled and waxed finish for its durability.
A 50% deposit is required for the order. Depending on availability and other ongoing projects, a manufacturing lead time of 2 months is expected. Shipment in national or international parcels with insurance costs see conditions here.
